Job Title

• X-ray / Radiologic Technician

• Full-time, day shift, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-rays as ordered by physicians.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging exams.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment in accordance with safety standards.
• Accurately document procedures using electronic health records systems.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including those related to infection control and patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of radiology or X-ray technician experience.
• Valid VA or compact state radiologic technologist license.
• EPIC charting experience required.
• Ability to perform imaging procedures independently.
• Willingness to float within scope if needed.
• Candidates must be eligible to work locally at current rate; no radius restrictions.
• Two professional references required.
• Candidate must be able to start without pending background checks.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
• Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting.
• Familiarity with VA policies or standards is a plus.
• Experience with comprehensive imaging modalities would be advantageous.

• Travel and compliance requirements include submission of SSN, DOB, address, phone, and email at submission.
• Candidates must submit to fingerprinting per Virginia law with a turnaround of 15-20 business days; start dates should be planned accordingly.
• All candidates will undergo module orientation during onboarding, including non-billable training hours.
