Job Title
• Observation Registered Nurse (RN)

Location
• Olympia, WA

Schedule / Job Type
• Travel Contract, 3x12-hour night shifts per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide observation nursing care in a short-term acute care hospital setting
• Float between like units as needed within skill set, including surgical and medical observation patients
• Monitor and assess patients requiring overnight stays and long length of stay patients
• Utilize electronic charting systems, primarily EPIC, for accurate documentation
• Adhere to patient safety protocols and maintain compliance with hospital standards and regulations

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in acute or observational care
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to float between similar units as needed
• Must be eligible for a traveling nurse license

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with surgical procedures involving overnight stays
• Familiarity with EPIC or comparable electronic medical records systems
• Previous travel nursing experience is a plus
