Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during catheterization and electrophysiology procedures in the cath lab.
• Prepare and maintain procedural room and equipment.
• Monitor patient condition and provide routine and emergency patient care during procedures.
• Instruct patients before procedures and ensure their comfort and safety.
• Contribute to the training and orientation of new staff members.
• Support quality control initiatives through auditing and reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Must hold an RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist), or ARRT-R Radiography or imaging credential.
• A minimum of an associate degree from an accredited institution or 2 years of cath lab experience in lieu of degree.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire/transfer.
• Must meet one of the following credentials: ARRT-R, MRT through TX Medical Board, RCIS, RCES, CEPS, or CCDS.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• New graduates will be considered.
• Experience with heart catheterization, percutaneous coronary intervention, structural heart, or vascular cases.
• Ability to handle 15-25 cases per day.
