Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical services within the Healthcare for the Homeless Primary Care Program, supporting patients and medical staff in an ambulatory care setting.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all care and services provided, adhering to professional standards and clinic policies.
- Assist providers and staff to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care and resource utilization.
- Monitor medication inventory and supplies, perform quality control checks on Point of Care tests, and ensure a safe and clean working environment.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and compliance with infection control procedures.
- Report safety hazards and equipment issues to management and handle patient or coworker concerns according to HR policies.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Alaska Registered Nursing license at the time of submittal.
- BLS certification.
- Proof of up-to-date flu vaccination.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- At least 2 years of primary care experience.
- Knowledge of nursing processes, infection control principles, and customer service.
- Ability to perform assessments, specimen collection, and operate medical equipment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to multitask independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with problem-solving skills and critical thinking capabilities.
