Job Title

• Certified Surgical Technician – CVOR

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Day shift, 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub open heart, vascular, and wired vascular cases in the CVOR setting.
• Assist surgical teams during complex cardiovascular procedures.
• Adhere to sterile protocols and ensure patient safety throughout procedures.
• Support the surgical team with instrument management and technical duties.
• Follow all hospital policies and safety procedures, including on-call and holiday coverage as required.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Surgical Technician, with CVOR experience preferred.
• Current Ohio license as a Surgical Technician or valid compact license accepted for starts after January 2023.
• AHA BLS certification is required.
• Must have at least 18 months of permanent experience in cardiovascular surgery.
• Pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Ability to recognize and respond to cardiac rhythms appropriately.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with open heart and vascular cases.
• Familiarity with wired vascular procedures.
• Experience with on-call and weekend shift coverage.
