Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days Shift, 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Labor & Delivery unit, utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with interdisciplinary team members.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques, policies, and standards of care.
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly according to standards of care.
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in coordination with physicians and hospital policies.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement initiatives and shared governance activities.
• Utilize clinical expertise to support patient care across units and escalate safety or patient experience concerns appropriately.

Required Qualifications

• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse license.
• Valid CPR, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program, with education verification required.
• High-risk labor and delivery experience at a Level 1 Trauma Center.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a high-volume or trauma level hospital setting.
• Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
