• Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized critical care to ICU patients, including Cardiac and CVICU care.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms, manage dysrhythmias, and interpret 12-lead EKGs.
• Perform post-procedure care for cardiac cath and interventions.
• Manage and administer IV medications, including sedation, vasoactive drips, and blood products.
• Assist with respiratory management, including ventilator support, BiPAP, CPAP, and ABGs.
• Respond to emergencies with rapid assessment and intervention, including code blue situations.

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois RN license.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, including Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response skills.
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Certification.
• Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Experience with cardiac procedures such as cardiac cath and post-intervention care.
• Skilled in respiratory support, including ventilator management and ABG interpretation.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with renal failure management.
• Ability to manage arterial lines, PICC lines, and central venous access devices.
• Familiarity with hospital charting systems, preferably Cerner.

Additional Notes

• Candidates must work 2 of 3 major holidays.
• Floating within hospital or to nearby facilities is required.
• RTO requests up to 5 days may be considered with prior approval.
• Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12 hours each.
• Must complete all compliance modules prior to start.
• No on-call requirement.
• Travel compliance and licensing details must be fulfilled prior to assignment.
