- Registered Nurse - Inpatient Rehabilitation
Location
- Herrin, IL
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shift (7 pm to 7 am), 3 shifts per week, including every third weekend
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to inpatient rehab patients, managing typical medical floor duties excluding Heparin drips
- Assess patients’ mental, physical, and spiritual needs, and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Monitor patient conditions, using clinical judgment to recognize and report changes, ensuring high-quality patient care
- Educate patients and responsible persons, offering clear explanations and instructions
- Contribute to a positive, professional work environment through effective communication and conflict management
- Adhere to all patient care standards and maintain accurate medical documentation
Required Qualifications
- Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Neuro or stroke care experience is a plus, with stroke certification being advantageous but not required
- Flexibility with weekend shifts and some schedule accommodations
