Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and develop and implement individualized care plans for critical care patients.
- Administer advanced life support, treat wounds, and monitor vital signs.
- Operate and adjust medical equipment such as ventilators and monitors.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members and respond promptly to life-threatening emergencies.
- Provide patient and family education and support throughout treatment.
- Assist physicians during procedures and ensure proper documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Texas RN license or multi-state RN license (must be attached to resume).
- ACLS & BLS certifications through the American Heart Association (must be attached).
- At least 1 year of clinical experience in a critical care setting.
- Willingness to float to lower acuity units as needed.
- Ability to work night shifts and accept full patient assignments (6 patients while floating).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
- Travel nursing experience.
- Experience working in ICU or critical care environments.
