• Full-time, contract, rotating shift, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac patients in the CVICU.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, medications, and treatment responses.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies, including arrhythmias and other critical events.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain high standards of patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in CVICU prior to travel assignments.
• Active Ohio nursing license or Compact state license.
• Current certifications: American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Ability to work at least every other holiday.
• Must pass background checks and drug screenings (nicotine free, unless exempt).
• Must complete fingerprinting and badging at the facility prior to start.
• BCI/FBI background check completed within 48 hours of signing contract.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Travel ICU experience is acceptable.
• Strong clinical skills in cardiac care and emergency response.
• Ability to manage complex patient scenarios independently.
