Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, rotating shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac ICU patients, ensuring patient safety and compliance with medical protocols.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding swiftly to emergencies.
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in a CVICU setting prior to travel assignments.
• Recent CVICU experience (travel experience acceptable).
• Active Ohio licensed Registered Nurse or valid compact state license in hand at time of submission.
• American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (active and current).
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Ability to work on at least every other holiday.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screens, and onboarding assessments.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel ICU experience.
• Experience interpreting complex cardiac rhythms.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
