Key Responsibilities
- Provide preoperative nursing care to patients in the surgical unit.
- Monitor patient vitals and assess patient condition prior to surgery.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a specialized nursing role.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- ACLS certification required.
- NIHSS certification preferred.
- Experience in Neuro and Thoracic surgical units.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong background in PreOp and surgical nursing.
- Experience in neuro and thoracic patient care.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
