Phlebotomist

Location:
Los Angeles, CA

Schedule / Job Type:
Full-time, day shift (5x8 hours)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect blood samples from patients in outpatient settings
  • Follow established protocols to ensure accurate labeling and handling of specimens
  • Maintain proper documentation and specimen tracking
  • Adhere to safety and infection control standards
  • Work efficiently within a team to ensure patient care needs are met

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of phlebotomy experience, preferably with outpatient procedures
  • Completion of a recognized Phlebotomy training program
  • Current BLS and CPT I certifications
  • Valid California phlebotomy license or certification, including IV certification for LVNs
  • Ability to provide references from within the past year and relevant licensure documentation
  • COVID vaccination card and recent Nursys license report

Preferred Experience / Skills:

  • Prior experience working in a hospital outpatient setting, preferably at Cedars Sinai or similar facility
  • Flexibility to float between various locations as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and patient care skills
