Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

• Full-time, 3x12-hour shifts, rotating day/night shifts, onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the HVTI-Stepdown Float Pool unit, with potential to care for patients in additional units as needed.
• Deliver continuous, high-quality nursing care while adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.
• Recognize and interpret ECG rhythms, and administer medications safely under established guidelines.
• Complete orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate, with passing scores required.
• Work at least every other holiday and participate in rotating shifts to meet hospital operational needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio license or Compact State Nursing License.
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent nursing experience in the specialty applying for, prior to travel.
• Recent Stepdown/Progressive Care experience; travel experience is acceptable.
• Current American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Ability to work at least every other holiday.
• Negative drug screen (including nicotine testing per facility requirements) within 12 months of start date.
• Completion of BCI/FBI background checks within 48 hours of signing contract.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in PCU/Progressive Care preferred but not required.
• Ability to recognize cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately.
• Previous travel nursing experience in a similar unit.
