Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, rotating schedule (days/nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients in a mixed acuity PCU and MS unit.
• Manage patient diagnoses including leukemia, lymphoma, multiple myeloma, and other hematologic conditions.
• Administer chemotherapy, blood products, and manage central lines and other IV therapies.
• Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias, utilizing Rapid Response Teams as needed.
• Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Support patients through procedures such as stem cell transplants and CAR-T therapy.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio or compact state nursing license.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry and Oncology nursing experience.
• BLS certification; ACLS and Oncology Chemotherapy Certification are preferred.
• Experience with computerized charting systems, preferably EPIC.
• Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and line management.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Hematology/Oncology experience, including stem cell transplants and CAR-T therapies.
• Knowledge of various patient diagnoses related to blood cancers and disorders.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to coordinatePatient care effectively in a fast-paced environment.
