Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Director in achieving organizational and department goals.
- Provide support as a Charge Nurse, quality management coordinator, and resource for the unit.
- Coordinate and direct nursing care for an assigned group of residents/patients during each shift.
- Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident/patient care.
- Participate in patient/resident and family education.
- Collaborate with nursing and resident/patient team members according to facility policies and standards.
- Assist administratively in the absence of the Director.
- Maintain resident/patient privacy and confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Active State of Maine or Compact RN license.
- Associates Degree in Nursing (2-year college).
- Minimum of 3 years nursing experience.
- BLS certification required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facility (LTC/SNF) setting preferred.
