Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 4 shifts per week, night shift (19:00 - 07:00), 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a busy Level I Trauma Center Emergency Room.
• Render appropriate and timely nursing interventions based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety procedures, and documentation standards.
• Demonstrate proficiency in Level I Trauma experience and acute care procedures.
• Support staffing needs by working 48-hour shifts when required.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state or a valid compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience, with preference for 3+ years.
• Experience in a Level I Trauma Center preferred.
• Must have recent large hospital or trauma experience.
• Driver’s license to be included with submission.
• Ability to work 48-hour shifts and adapt to night hours.
• Strong knowledge of Cerner or similar electronic health records system preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in Short Term Acute Care settings.
• Prior travel nursing experience or large hospital background.
• Flexibility to work on a block schedule is not required, but weekend availability may be considered.
