Schedule / Job Type

• Rotating shifts, part-time (1 shift per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain sterilization equipment, including autoclaves, ensuring proper sterilization procedures are followed.
• Assemble, sterilize, and document surgical instruments and procedural trays for outpatient clinics.
• Verify instrument functionality, report any issues, and ensure instruments are in good working order prior to use.
• Clean instruments and record sterilizer test results regularly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the Sterile Processing department.
• Communicate effectively with operating room personnel and team members, and contribute to process improvements as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Active CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician) license.
• Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification.
• Knowledge of sterile processing equipment such as washers and autoclaves.
• Basic understanding of surgical instrumentation and power equipment.
• Ability to accurately document sterilization processes and maintenance activities.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in sterile processing or surgical instrumentation.
• Familiarity with healthcare sterilization standards and safety protocols.
