Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), contract position, on-site

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit, following hospital protocols and standards
• Recognize and interpret ECG rhythms accurately
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety
• Document patient information promptly and accurately using Epic charting system
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to deliver quality patient care
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies and travel requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience prior to travel
• Valid Ohio license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Recent (within 6 months) Epic charting experience
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Successful completion of BG and drug screens within the past 12 months; nicotine-free status required for most travelers
• Must provide two recent references from managers, ANMs, supervisors, or directors in the specialty within past 12 months

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital environment with a focus on telemetry nursing
• Prior exposure to acute care and patient monitoring
• Knowledge of hospital electronic medical records, specifically Epic

Additional Information

• Must be willing to work at least every other holiday
• Traveler must have a permanent Ohio license or accepted compact license issued after January 1, 2023

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate and must meet all requirements
• Complete required modules (average 6-15 hours) prior to start; time is billable through Silkroad
• All travel compliance documentation must be completed within specified timeframes
