Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in a Level II Trauma Center, specializing in telemetry monitoring.
• Conduct thorough assessments, interpret telemetry rhythms, and respond to patient condition changes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality care and compliance with hospital protocols.
• Document patient information accurately in the Meditech system and utilize advanced hospital technology.
• Ensure patient safety through hourly rounding and bedside shift reports.
• Perform procedures such as PICC line removal and vascular access management as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license with strong nursing background and expert knowledge in telemetry.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Proven assessment skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle stressful situations.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, dependability, and self-motivation.
• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and respond accordingly.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a hospital setting, ideally in telemetry or medical-surgical units.
• Experience with Dynamaps, iMobile technology, and Meditech documentation system.
• Familiarity with hospital policies, pathways to excellence, and certification standards.
