Job Title

• Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and perform interventional radiology procedures under physician supervision.
• Support the IR department in a hospital setting, ensuring patient safety and care.
• Assist with procedures including neuro and stroke interventions, utilizing specialized imaging equipment.
• Maintain compliance with established protocols and safety standards.
• Ensure proper documentation and patient records are maintained accurately.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of stroke and body IR experience.
• Certification in Radiography (ARRT-R) required.
• Certification in one of the following within two years of hire: ARRT-CI (Cardiac-Interventional), ARRT-CV (Cardiovascular Interventional), or ARRT-VI (Interventional Rad).
• Must be certified in ARRT-Radiography (ARRT-R).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with neuro interventional procedures preferred.
• Ability to adapt to training and learning new protocols as needed.
