Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide patient care.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments following approved nursing techniques, policies, procedures, and standards of care.
• Document patient care activities accurately and in accordance with standards.
• Develop, initiate, and modify individualized patient care plans as prescribed by physicians and hospital policies, including patient and family education.
• Participate in departmental or unit performance improvement initiatives, potentially including shared governance.
• Support other units/departments with clinical expertise to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Use critical thinking to prioritize patient safety and experience, escalating concerns appropriately.

Required Qualifications

• Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Valid CPR/BLS certification.
• Must be vaccinated for flu.
• Education verification required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in Medical-Surgical nursing preferred.
• Flexibility to float to other units as needed.
