Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in the Stepdown, Progressive Care Unit (PCU), or Intermediate Care (IMC) setting.
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess patient conditions to detect changes requiring intervention.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic health records.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and hospital policies.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or ability to transfer license.
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent experience in a Stepdown, PCU, or IMC setting.
• Ability to work 12.5-hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level II trauma or cardiac unit preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Prior travel or temporary staffing experience is a plus.
