Job Title
• Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures Tech

• Savannah, GA

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Day shifts, Travel assignment, 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities
• Assist with interventional radiology procedures in a high-acuity clinical setting, including stroke and trauma interventions.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced imaging equipment such as IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream systems.
• Prepare and maintain sterile procedural environments, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Document procedures accurately using electronic medical records system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including RN, ARRT/RTR, and RCIS to provide optimal patient care.
• Support procedures such as port placements, thrombectomy, atherectomy, TIPS, EVAR, PE, and stroke interventions.

Required Qualifications
• Certification as an IR or Special Procedures Technologist.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or special procedures.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to assist with advanced interventional procedures involving critical care patients.
• Experience with high-tech imaging equipment (IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet).
• Knowledge of sterile technique and patient safety protocols in a hospital setting.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience in a Level I Trauma Center or Stroke Center.
• Familiarity with EPIC Cupid documentation system.
• Skilled in managing critical care patient clinical workflows.
