Key Responsibilities
- Provide behavior analysis services and develop behavior intervention plans for students in a school setting.
- Support and train school staff, paraprofessionals, and parents/guardians on behavior intervention techniques.
- Conduct assessments, track student progress, and update intervention strategies accordingly.
- Manage classroom and individual student behavior to create a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with IEP teams to develop, implement, and monitor education plans tailored to students’ needs.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding student progress.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in a related field.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
- 1-3 years of school-based experience working with students with autism or behavioral challenges.
- Experience supervising ABA therapists (preferred).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with young children in a public school environment.
- Strong behavior management and program development skills.
- Excellent communication, active listening, and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
