Registered Nurse Medical Surgical/Tele

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Telemetry, Night Shift

Location

• Shiloh, IL

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Travel nursing, Night shifts (3x12 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a hospital setting, focusing on medical-surgical and cardiac units.
• Monitor patients' condition, administer medications, and document care using electronic charting systems.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Float within scope of practice across units, including potential coverage at affiliated facilities within the hospital system.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and certification requirements, including ACLS, NIH, and BCLS.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state nursing license (Missouri or Illinois, or a valid compact license).
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in Med-Surg or Cardiac/Telemetry units.
• ACLS, NIH, and BCLS certifications.
• EPIC electronic charting experience preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts and participate in block scheduling.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in Magnet or Level Trauma hospitals.
• Prior experience with float nursing within hospital systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
