- Medical-Surgical Float Pool Nurse
Location
- Columbus, OH
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical-Surgical setting
- Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
- Cover night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
- Support patient ratios of 1:4-5 and ensure patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure efficient patient care and communication
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
- Current BCLS certification
- Proficient in IV start procedures and telemetry monitoring
- Experience with electronic health record systems, preferably EPIC
- Valid compact or state nursing license at the time of submission
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Flexibility to float between units of similar or lower acuity
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
