Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to labor and delivery patients in a hospital setting.
- Manage patient monitoring, IV starts, and assist with childbirth procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
- Document all patient interactions and care activities accurately in Epic electronic health records.
- Adapt to floating assignments as needed within the labor and delivery department.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery nursing experience.
- Valid state licensure or a compact license in Ohio at the time of submission.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRPS certifications.
- Experience with IV starts and Epic electronic health records.
- Ability to meet strict fingerprinting and travel compliance deadlines.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience.
- Experience with Ohio-based healthcare facilities.
- Knowledge of Ohio State University Hospital policies and procedures.
