Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in Medical Surgical and Telemetry units, with flexibility to float to other campuses if census levels require.
• Maintain high standards of care, including medication scanning and documentation compliance.
• Respond promptly to call-ins, arriving within one hour when on call.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment plans.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and facility policies.
• Manage patient load efficiently, maintaining staffing ratios and quality care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years recent and consecutive experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing in an acute care hospital setting.
• Valid state nursing license; pending licenses not accepted.
• Knowledge of medication scanning procedures.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to float to multiple campuses (Ontario, Bucyrus, Galion) as needed.
• Willingness to work night shift and participate in on-call duties.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Epic electronic health record experience preferred.
• Travel experience required; candidates should have prior travel nursing experience.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to different unit workflows.
