• Full-time, days, 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy interventions as planned, delegated, and supervised by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Record treatments administered and note patient progress in medical records.
• Evaluate and plan treatment strategies to improve residents’ function, reduce pain, and promote healing.
• Support and educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy practices.
• Monitor patient responses and modify treatment plans as necessary.
• Ensure all documentation complies with company policies and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow treatment plans and instructions from licensed Physical Therapists.
• Physical stamina to assist patients with movement and exercises.
• Empathy and patience when working with patients.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in healthcare documentation.
