• Full-time, travel, 13-week assignment, multiple shifts available, onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent, comprehensive nursing care to ER patients, including routine and complex cases.
• Assess patient conditions, develop care plans, and evaluate treatment effectiveness in a fast-paced environment.
• Administer medications and treatments following protocols, monitoring for side effects and efficacy.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and follow-up care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure timely and effective patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in New Mexico or a compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ER experience, specifically in Level I, II, or III trauma centers.
• Certification in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC through AHA.
• Ability to work multiple shifts, including evenings, with shifts typically from 3PM-7PM in-time.
• Prior experience with trauma, stroke, STEMI, post-surgical, pregnancy, pediatrics, or behavioral health patients.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent experience in ED trauma environments.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and patient education skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations.
