Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care in a hospice setting, supporting comfort and quality of life for terminally ill patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes effectively.
• Educate patients and families on end-of-life care and symptom management.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and care provided.
• Attend on-call shifts evenings and weekends as scheduled, providing support beyond regular hours.
Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in the state of Kentucky.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to work a Monday–Friday schedule, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
• Experience or comfort with hospice or palliative care preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior hospice or home healthcare experience.
• Strong communication and compassionate patient care skills.
