Registered Nurse Telemetry

Job Title

• Telemetry Registered Nurse (Night Shifts)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized telemetry care to adult and geriatric patients, including stroke, neuro spine, general surgery, and postoperative cardiac cath care.
• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs, neurological status, and recovery progress.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement and adjust care plans.
• Document patient information accurately using the Epic charting system.
• Float between hospital locations as needed, ensuring continuous quality care.
• Support patients with complex medical conditions such as diabetic wounds, COVID-19 treatment, oral surgery, and more.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state RN license in Missouri (compact license preferred if applicable) or Illinois (non-compact license requires additional processing).
• Minimum of 2 years of recent telemetry or step-down nursing experience.
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Epic charting experience.
• Ability to work night shifts and handle a patient ratio of 1:4-6.
• Must pass travel compliance and fit testing, with valid SSN and DOB on file.
• Willingness to float between facilities and adhere to hospital policies.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Stroke care background or post-cardiac cath care experience.
• Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients with complex needs.
• Prior experience with EPIC charting system.
• Flexibility to work variable schedules, including every third weekend.
