Full-time, night shift (3x12 hours, 19:00 - 07:00)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Float within scope to other units as needed, maintaining flexibility.
• Complete required documentation using EPIC charting system.
• Participate in orientation modules and ongoing training during the assignment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Virginia or compact state nursing license.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required.
• At least 1 year of recent nursing experience in Labor and Delivery.
• Current SSN, DOB, address, phone, and email information.
• Ability to start within the required timeline with all compliance documents.
• Minimum of 2 references.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred.
• EPIC charting experience required.
• Experience working in a community hospital setting.

• All ER and Psych candidates need to complete fingerprinting; average turnaround is 15-20 business days.
• Candidates will be assigned modules during orientation on the VCU Learning Exchange, which are non-billable and required to be completed by the end of orientation week.
