  • Full-time, night shifts (4x10 hours per week, Mon–Thur, 9:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform EEG procedures and operate related equipment in a clinical setting.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and charting using EPIC and other hospital systems.
  • Float within different departments or units as needed to support operational needs.
  • Adhere to facility policies, including equipment use and infection control procedures.
  • Complete assigned training modules during orientation and within specified timeframes.
  • Maintain compliance with all facility and state regulations, including fingerprinting where applicable.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of EEG or related clinical experience.
  • Valid VA or compact state license in hand at the time of submission.
  • EPIC electronic charting experience required.
  • Able to provide two professional references.
  • Successful completion of fingerprinting (average turnaround 15-20 business days).
  • Candidate must be fully cleared and available to start without pending results.

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • BSN degree preferred.
  • Experience working within a hospital or neurological department.
  • Familiarity with Virginia or state-specific healthcare policies.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts and float across units.

  • Candidates will be scheduled to complete orientation modules on the VCU Learning Exchange, which are required to be completed during the orientation week.
  • No time off approvals during the first week of assignment.
  • The facility maintains a return staff policy requiring one-year separation before reemployment as a traveler.
  • Candidates must comply with the facility’s policies, including the natural nail policy and specific requirements for ER and Psych departments.
