Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing patient treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic interventions to support patient recovery and mobility
- Monitor and document patient progress according to established protocols
- Support patients during therapy sessions to ensure safety and comfort
- Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize treatment outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Valid PTA license or certification in the state of Michigan
- Prior experience or training in physical therapy assistance preferred
- Strong communication skills and patient care orientation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in outpatient or hospital settings
- Knowledge of current physical therapy techniques and equipment
