Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures following department protocols and safety guidelines.
• Operate Siemens Altea MRI equipment and ensure optimal image quality.
• Adhere to department-specific protocols for patient positioning and safety.
• Complete documentation using Cerner EMR, transitioning to EPIC soon.
• Participate in orientation on first day, including department-specific training.
• Maintain compliance with all certification and hospital requirements.

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification.
• ARRT (MR) certification or ARMRIT certification.
• At least 1 year of MRI technologist experience preferred.
• Ability to start IVs is a plus, but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with Siemens Altea MRI systems.
• Access to a positive drug screen and understanding of OSF’s drug-free policy.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with PACS imaging systems.
• Knowledge of transitioning to EPIC EMR platform.
• Prior experience in a hospital outpatient setting.
