Key Responsibilities

• Perform continuous cardiac monitoring via central monitoring station

• Interpret and analyze EKG/ECG rhythms and report findings to clinical staff

• Monitor patient telemetry data and alert appropriate personnel to changes in cardiac status

• Maintain accurate documentation of cardiac monitoring observations

• Support nursing staff and clinical team with telemetry-related needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin CNA Certification required

• BLS Certification required

• Completion of an ECG/EKG Course and passing of a challenge test with a score of 80% or above required

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in central cardiac monitoring

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with a variety of cardiac arrhythmias and telemetry equipment

• Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting
