Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (13-week Contract)

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week contract, night shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide excellent emergency nursing care in a busy hospital ED setting.

• Monitor and assess patient needs, and implement appropriate interventions.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records.

• Adhere to unit policies, safety protocols, and dress code standards.

• Potentially perform procedures such as intubations, sutures, splinting, and more as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.

• Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support).

• TNCC and ENPC certifications or equivalent preferred.

• Minimum of 1 year of recent emergency department nursing experience.

• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts reliably.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Candidates with more than 2 years of ED experience.

• Experience with Meditech EMR system.

• Skilled in procedures such as LP, intubations, lac repairs, and suture removal.

• Strong team player with excellent patient care skills.
