Registered Nurse PICU

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit)

• Cleveland, OH

• Full-time, night shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 3x12-hour shifts per week

• Provide specialized pediatric critical care for patients up to 25 years old in the PICU.
• Administer medications, manage inotropes, and interpret EKG rhythms.
• Participate in epilepsy monitoring and provide end-of-life care as required.
• Adhere to established protocols and coordinate with interdisciplinary team members.
• Complete required assessments and documentation in compliance with hospital policies.

• 18 months of permanent pediatric ICU experience prior to travel assignment
• Current Ohio RN license or valid compact state license
• American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Experience with epilepsy monitoring, EKG interpretation, and inotropes
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation

• Travel experience in pediatric critical care
• Experience with NIHHS, in addition to pediatric ICU
• Previous experience working in a fast-paced, tertiary care hospital setting
