• Travel, 13-week assignment, Days shift, 4 shifts per week, 10.5 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized cardiovascular perioperative nursing care in a surgical setting.
• Assist with open-heart procedures including CABG, MVR, AVR, pacemaker placement, laser lead extractions, thoracic and endovascular surgeries.
• Ensure sterile procedures are followed, and all necessary equipment and medications are prepared for surgical teams.
• Document surgical procedures, patient status, and outcomes accurately using Meditech.
• Participate in on-call rotations, providing support approximately every other day and weekend.
• Maintain patient safety and quality control throughout perioperative care.

Required Qualifications

• Current Idaho licensed or eligible RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an acute CVOR setting.
• Experience with open-heart instrumentation, TEE equipment, and ultrasound.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in minimally invasive cardiac procedures.
• Ability to function independently in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
