Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient pediatric occupational therapy services to pediatric clients in a hospital setting.
- Assess clients' developmental needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with medical teams and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document client progress using Cerner electronic health record system.
- Float within scope to support facility needs and cover various pediatric outpatient areas as required.
- Work diligently to meet facility standards and patient care protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years pediatric outpatient occupational therapy experience.
- Valid Illinois licensure for Occupational Therapy (Illinois license must be in hand at time of submission).
- Experience with Cerner charting system.
- AHA or Red Cross CPR certification (RQI cards not accepted).
- Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
- Must be fully vaccinated and compliant with ALL clinical and travel requirements.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in critical access or magnet hospital environments.
- Flexibility to float within hospital or affiliate facilities.
- Familiarity with pediatric developmental assessments and interventions.
