Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days shifts, 7-day departmental coverage (scheduled from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM), possible weekends, up to 88 hours per two-week period, with a 5-day workweek and one potential weekend day (Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday).

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional occupational therapy services within a hospital or rehabilitation setting, focusing on habilitation and rehabilitation of patients.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans under general supervision.
• Perform a full range of occupational therapy procedures for diverse cases, primarily in SNF rehab environments.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems such as Meditech for documentation.
• Maintain flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed based on hospital operations.
• Adhere to all safety, clinical, and documentation standards required for payer and facility compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Hawaii Occupational Therapist license (must be obtained prior to start date).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working with adults in settings such as SNF, acute care, rehab hospitals, or outpatient clinics.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably Meditech.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a hospital or skilled nursing facility environment.
• Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
