Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized ICU nursing care to critically ill patients.
• Maintain self-scheduling and adapt to flexible shift patterns, including possible rotations of 1-2 weeks or monthly, with no same-week swaps.
• Manage patient condition monitoring, medication administration, and emergent interventions in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic health records (Cerner preferred).
• Adhere to travel compliance and hospital policies, including completing required lab work within 72 hours of contract signing.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU or critical care experience.
• Self-scheduling capability.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, CPI, NIHC.
• Excellent clinical judgment and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR system.
• Prior travel nursing experience.
• Previous critical care experience in an ICU setting.
• Knowledge of working in a hospital serving a diverse geographic region.
