Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the operating room setting during scheduled shifts.
- Assist surgical teams during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards related to surgical patient care.
- Document patient care activities accurately and promptly.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support efficient surgical procedures.
- Maintain readiness to travel for 13-week assignment commitments.
Required Qualifications
- Valid and active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience
- Ability to work full shifts of approximately 10.5 hours
- Strong understanding of operating room procedures and safety protocols
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience in a surgical or OR environment
- Certification in CPR/BLS and ACLS (if applicable)
- Familiarity with hospital electronic medical records (EMR) systems
