Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the surgical team by preparing operating rooms, sterilizing equipment, and ensuring smooth procedure flow.
- Scrub and assist with a variety of surgical procedures, including orthopedics, neuro, ENT, general surgery, kidney transplants, and potentially liver transplants.
- Support surgical teams in trauma, robotics, and specialized surgeries at a Level I Trauma Center.
- Participate in rotating shifts, including day shifts with occasional evening, weekend, and holiday coverage, plus on-call duties.
- Respond promptly to emergency calls and assist during surgeries requiring rapid response and high proficiency.
- Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification.
- Prior experience with orthopedic, neuro, ENT, transplant (kidney/liver preferred), trauma, and robotic surgeries.
- Ability to scrub on general surgery, spine, head & neck ENT, GYN, and urology cases.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Availability to work rotating shifts and weekends, with responsiveness for on-call duties.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Level I Trauma Center.
- Familiarity with robotic surgical systems.
- Recent experience in transplant surgeries, especially kidney and liver cases.
- Ability to adapt to floating between operating rooms and departments.

Additional Information
- This position requires candidates to be separated from the facility for at least six months if previously employed by the organization or its affiliates.
- No local travelers accepted; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Boston.
- Up to 4 shifts per week, with guaranteed hours of 72 biweekly.
- Orientation every Monday, with immediate start available based on compliance.
- Parking expenses up to $43/day may apply.
- Candidates are asked to provide available interview dates and times upon submission.
