Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services primarily in the Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit, with potential assignments in NICU or PICU based on facility needs.
- Float between units within the hospital as required, including Pediatric and Adult units.
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with all safety and treatment protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care during night shifts.
- Adhere to all certification and licensure requirements, including hold of Indiana State License and required certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Indiana State License in Respiratory Therapy (must be in hand prior to start date).
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in NICU or Pediatric ICU.
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NBRC RRT, NRP (for appropriate units), and PALS preferred.
- Must have recent Children's Hospital experience within the last 3 years.
- Must be comfortable working every other weekend and on 2 out of 3 major holidays.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Labor & Delivery units preferred, with ability to obtain NRP certification if necessary.
- Additional experience in adult ICU or emergency settings is advantageous.
- Experience floating within hospital units and handling various pediatric and adult patient populations.
