Key Responsibilities
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care and patient goals for surgical patients.
• Provide patient care according to standards of practice, protocols, and policies.
• Educate patients and families, including discharge planning and resource coordination.
• Safely administer medications, intravenous therapies, and related treatments as per physician orders and protocols.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret data to initiate appropriate interventions.
• Document patient care thoroughly and accurately, ensuring seamless communication with the healthcare team.
• Promote a safe environment by proactively identifying and addressing safety risks and medication errors.
• Utilize pain management devices and other equipment to ensure effective pain relief and patient comfort.

Required Qualifications
• Current MA Registered Nurse license.
• BLS certification; ACLS certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• At least 1 year of medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Telemetry and pediatric experience are a plus.
