Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Day shifts, 4x10-Hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
• Perform coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cath lab for conditions such as coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease, and cardiac arrhythmias.
• Assist in the setup and operation of specialized equipment, including fluoroscopy, for invasive cardiac procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, adhering to hospital and regulatory protocols.
• Maintain accurate documentation using the Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment.
• Comply with all required certifications and hospital policies during procedures and daily operations.
Required Qualifications
• ARRT certification and State of California license (or willingness to consider pending license with application already submitted).
• Valid fluoroscopy permit, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of cath lab experience in a hospital setting.
• Ability to work a schedule that includes working 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• Willingness to float within hospital or to nearby facilities when needed.
• Must have or be willing to obtain and hold certification in Epic charting system.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with peripheral vascular procedures and pacemaker placement.
• Knowledge of Epic electronic medical records system.
• Ability to work within a team in a dynamic acute care environment.
