Registered Nurse Medical Surgical/Tele

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Medical-Surgical/Telemetry (Nights)

Location

• Glenwood Springs, CO

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week, with weekend rotation and call requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in the Acute Care/Med-Surg/Observation Unit
• Utilize specialized knowledge to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Assist in managing critical disease states, working within the nursing process
• Participate in the call rotation, including taking one call shift every two weeks as needed

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license to practice in Colorado
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Minimum of 2 years of recent RN experience in Med-Surg, telemetry, or acute care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least 3 years of RN Med-Surg experience
• Experience in acute care settings, preferably with orthopedic surgery, cath lab procedures, or chronic illnesses
